Prof. Josemon Jacob received his Ph.D. from Iowa State University, USA where he worked on various aspects of catalysis under the guidance of Prof. James H. Espenson. Subsequently, he did postdoctoral studies initially at the University of Rochester, USA (with Prof. William D. Jones) and then at Max-Planck-Institute for Polymer Research in Mainz, Germany (with Prof. Klaus Muellen). In 2006, he joined an assistant professor in ‘‘Department of Materials Science and Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi-India’’ where he is currently a Professor. Our group has broad research interests in the area of polymer synthesis with current focus in the areas of semiconducting polymers, biodegradable polymers and catalysis/Metallopolymers
